When I accepted the role of Senior Marketing Manager at Fortem, I saw the need for explanatory drawings right away.

Counter-UAS is a unique industry focused on complex problems, solving them with intricate methods that are each completely different from the next. Clear visual demonstration isn’t just a good idea, it’s necessary.

It also happens to be difficult. You won’t find graphics like these on Shutterstock, that’s for sure. A technical drafter could sketch the concepts for you, but you’d need to hire one full-time to keep up with the output I had in mind. Drawing wasn’t the answer. 3D was.

I built an environment in Blender with cartoon-style shaders and models designed to be simpler facsimiles of their real-life counterparts. With it, my team can produce specific, accurate illustrations of any concept in minutes.
